Field Engineer

You will provide on-site technical support and network configuration services across New York City.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client offices and customer locations within NYC via subway.
• Connect to hardware using console cables for direct device access.
• Perform network configurations using Putty and SecureCRT.
• Manage device installations and troubleshooting via screen sharing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in field engineering or networking roles.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS commands and install mode.
• Working knowledge of Cisco Layer-2 networking concepts.
• Practical understanding of static routes and BGP routing protocols.
• Proficiency with terminal emulation tools including Putty and SecureCRT.
• Ability to work on-site at client offices 5 days a week.
• Must reside within the five boroughs of New York City.
• Any graduate degree.
