Description

Manage on-site installations, equipment testing, and technical supervision for DC power systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform AC and DC power risk assessments, including arc flash hazard protection and mitigation planning.
• Install, modify, and repair DC power equipment, batteries, and cable conveyances per engineering documents.
• Execute circuit modifications, software upgrades, and initial programming of DC power plant controllers.
• Conduct Midtronics battery testing, interpret results, and manage battery charging processes.
• Supervise multiple sites, manage project inventory, and provide on-the-job training to field personnel.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in field installation or technical site supervision.
• Hands-on experience with DC Power systems and equipment.
• Working knowledge of Telcordia GR-1275-CORE standards.
• Proven Project Management capabilities, including budget, man-hour, and inventory tracking.
• Ability to perform site surveys and on-site layouts independently.
• Experience with battery testing, charging, and power transition work.
• Skill in reading and implementing Engineering documents and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Ability to mentor lower-level technicians and delegate tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or any graduate level education.
