Description

You will provide on-site commissioning, maintenance, and technical support for industrial equipment at customer locations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Commission new equipment by ensuring proper mechanical and electrical installation for start-up.
• Troubleshoot and service existing machines to resolve problems and meet specifications.
• Provide technical support via telephone and perform warranty service calls.
• Document all activities through service reports, start-up documentation, and expense reports.
• Collaborate with Engineering to suggest design improvements and eliminate manufacturing flaws.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in an industrial environment managing machine maintenance and commissioning.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Strong electrical skills with the ability to read electrical schematics.
• Demonstrated ability to work with PLCs and HMIs, including reading diagrams and schematics.
• Knowledge of pneumatic principles.
• Proficiency in PC applications including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience in direct customer-facing roles.
• Ability to work independently in the field with 65% - 80% international travel.
• BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent technical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working in a foundry environment.
