Description

Provide on-site technical support, hardware deployment, and workstation management for end-users in La Tuque, QC.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure computer workstations, peripherals, phone equipment, and wireless devices including Android and iPhone.
• Image and reimage Windows operating systems for desktops and laptops using utilities like SCCM or Ghost.
• Manage hardware lifecycle through asset inventory, IMACD processes, and safe equipment transport.
• Resolve technical issues using trouble ticketing systems, remote desktop applications, and knowledge base documentation.
• Troubleshoot enterprise printer connectivity, hard drive encryption, and Microsoft Office/Exchange configuration issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 7, Vista, XP, 2000, 98).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
• Experience using Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for imaging and deployment.
• Hands-on experience provisioning and supporting mobile devices (Android, iPhone, Blackberry).
• Ability to support Windows Server environments (2012, 2008 r2, 2008, 2003, 2000).
• Functional capability with Apple OS X.
• Advanced troubleshooting of Microsoft Office Suite and Exchange configuration.
• Strict adherence to ESD safety precautions during hardware handling.
• Systematic problem-solving skills and experience following technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hard drive encryption software troubleshooting.
