Description

Maintain and repair semiconductor process equipment at worksites in the Syracuse, NY area.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, calibrate, and maintain semiconductor process equipment to minimize downtime.
• Monitor and inspect equipment to prevent and minimize malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and provide periodic reports.
• Monitor stock levels of service parts to ensure adequate inventory for repairs.
• Escalate advanced repairs to senior-level technicians as needed.

Required Skills

• 2-10 years of electromechanical work experience in a field service engineer or technician role within a semiconductor equipment company.
• Associate's degree or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Field Service Engineering and Electrical Troubleshooting.
• Experience with Digital Imaging, Service Engineering, and Technical Support.
• Competency in Field Service Management and Hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and compressed workweeks.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Must be able to drive for company business in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree.
• Lithography experience or experience with high precision equipment.
