You will provide on-site technical support and hardware/software maintenance for judicial staff across assigned counties.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain personal computer systems, peripherals, and software for judicial staff.
Support local area networks by installing and troubleshooting LAN hardware, including file servers, routers, switches, and telecommunications equipment.
Facilitate facility moves and relocations, including courthouses and office locations.
Participate in large-scale technology deployments, such as statewide software updates and server upgrades.
Provide technical training to judicial staff and interface with local government officials to resolve hardware and software issues.
Required Skills
Experience troubleshooting LAN hardware and software.
Hands-on experience with Cisco servers, routers, voice gateways, and switches.
Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012/16, and Office 2016/365.
Knowledge of SCCM/MECM, BitLocker, Cisco AMP, and Cisco ISE.
Ability to use PowerShell and manage software such as TN3270, SharePoint Designer, and Adobe Professional.
Understanding of Ethernet topology network design and implementation.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and handle hazardous electrical components with caution.
Capacity for up to 20% overnight travel across the state using a personal vehicle.
Must reside within a 20-mile radius of the Raleigh, NC duty station.
Preferred Skills
Experience managing critical incidents and coordinating with vendors for technical resolutions.
