You will provide on-site hardware support and break-fix services for PC and printer products.
Responsibilities
- Perform hardware repairs and unit replacements for laptops, desktops, RPOS, and workstations.
- Configure hardware, software, and simple network components on customer sites.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues involving printers, third-party software, networks, and switches.
- Execute technical action plans to remediate PC and print issues in coordination with escalation personnel.
- Manage multiple service events and prioritize tasks based on contract and business needs.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in technical or mechanical hardware repair.
- Proven experience in on-site, customer-facing roles.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use tools and alignment apparatus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, crawling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Competency in computer repair and hardware troubleshooting.
- Strong interpersonal skills for in-person relationship building and expectation management.
- Capability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including holidays and non-traditional shifts.
- High School diploma or equivalent, supplemented by hardware technology training.
Preferred Skills
- Printer repair and troubleshooting knowledge.
- College degree.
