Description

You will provide on-site hardware support and break/fix services for PC and printer products in Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installation, unit repair, and configuration for laptops, desktops, RPOS, and workstations.
• Troubleshoot and remediate PC and printer issues, including third-party software, networks, and switches.
• Manage service events on-site while educating customers on technology and maintaining business standards.
• Execute technical action plans in coordination with escalation personnel.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical or mechanical hardware repair.
• Proven experience in customer-facing, on-site service roles.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using tools and alignment apparatus.
• Ability to logically and systematically troubleshoot hardware, printers, networks, and switches.
• High School diploma or equivalent with additional hardware technology training.
• Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills for relationship building.
• Capacity to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, crawling, and stooping.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and re-prioritize based on contract and business needs.
• Availability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including holidays and shift work.

Preferred Skills

• College degree.
• Extensive printer hardware knowledge.
