Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support IBM FileNet P8 platform components including Content Platform Engine, IBM Content Collector, Content Search servics(CSS) and Content Navigator
• Manage IBM WebSphere Application Server environments supporting FileNet applications
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain FileNet and WebSphere environments
• Monitor system health, logs, JVM performance, application availability, and capacity
• Troubleshoot FileNet, WebSphere, workflow, and integration-related issues across environments
• Configure and manage WebSphere clusters, application deployments, datasource connectivity, and security settings
• Support user access, authentication, authorization, and platform security administration
• Perform server restarts, deployments, backup coordination, and recovery support
• Work with infrastructure, database, middleware, and application teams to resolve incidents and improve performance
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks
• Ensure system stability, compliance, and adherence to enterprise standards
  Support FileNet platform upgrade projects, including impact assessment, code changes, environment validation, and post-upgrade support
• Ensure application compatibility with upgraded FileNet versions and related middleware components

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience administering IBM FileNet P8.
• Experience with upgrading FileNet components.
• Experience administering IBM WebSphere Application Server
• Strong understanding of FileNet architecture, object stores, workflows, and security
• Experience with application deployment, JVM tuning, clustering, and datasource configuration in WebSphere
• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or other relational databases
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows server administration
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IBM Content Navigator, IBM Content collector, Content Platform Engine
• Scripting knowledge in Shell, PowerShell, Jython, or Java
• Experience with LDAP, SSO, and SSL certificate management
• Familiarity with upgrade, migration, and DR activities
• Exposure to monitoring tools, and automation
