Description

You administer and support the IBM FileNet P8 platform, ensuring system stability, security, and performance across production environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer IBM FileNet P8 components including Content Platform Engine, Content Collector, Content Search Services, and Content Navigator.
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain FileNet and IBM WebSphere Application Server environments.
• Monitor system health, logs, JVM performance, and application availability; troubleshoot integration and workflow issues.
• Manage WebSphere clusters, application deployments, datasource connectivity, and security settings including user access and authentication.
• Support platform upgrade projects, including impact assessment, environment validation, and ensuring application compatibility.

Required Skills

• 5+ years administering IBM FileNet P8, including experience with component upgrades.
• Strong experience administering IBM WebSphere Application Server, including clustering and JVM tuning.
• Deep understanding of FileNet architecture, object stores, workflows, and security models.
• Proficiency in application deployment, datasource configuration, and server administration on Linux and/or Windows.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting knowledge in Shell, PowerShell, Jython, or Java.
• Experience with LDAP, SSO, SSL certificate management, and automation tools.
