Description

You will develop and support FileNet applications within an IBM WebSphere environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java-based applications using IBM FileNet, IBM Content Manager/ICC, and associated components.
• Contribute to architectural and infrastructure analysis within an Agile POD.
• Mentor junior developers and oversee technical implementation within the team.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, BSAs, and QE to align technical efforts with user needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical capabilities using SDLC principles.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in FileNet (preferably 4.X or higher).
• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• 6+ years of experience in J2EE, including EJB, JSP, Hibernate/JPA, Servlets, and Portlets.
• Proficiency with database access technologies and SQL, specifically DB2 and Oracle.
• Experience with client-side UI technologies such as HTML, CSS, Ajax/Dojo, and JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of the SDLC (Plan, Define, Design, etc.).
• Ability to work independently or as part of an Agile team.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with UML, RUP, Kanban, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of software engineering design patterns, best practices, and configuration management tools.
• Experience with Spring, Struts, and Hibernate frameworks.
