Manage payroll, management accounting, statutory compliance, and commercial administration for the India business.
Responsibilities
Execute monthly payroll processing, including income tax calculations, salary component management, and full and final settlements for exiting employees.
Manage accounts payable and receivable by preparing vendor payment files, itemizing expenditures, and segregating TDS costs.
Maintain accurate books of accounts by recording all income and expenditure transactions and reconciling bank statements.
Prepare monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reports and manage cost allocation models for products.
Oversee statutory compliance, including GST returns, Provident Fund (PF) verification, Professional Tax (PT) calculations, and quarterly TDS data submission.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
Deep knowledge of prevailing Income Tax rates, allowances, deductions, and exemptions.
Hands-on experience with TDS rates by service supply category and quarterly TDS data submission.
Proficiency in managing GST returns, Provident Fund (PF), and Professional Tax (PT) calculations.
Experience with bank statement reconciliation and petty cash management.
Ability to prepare inter-company invoices and manage cost allocation models.
Knowledge of penalties levied for non-compliance in statutory filings.
Experience assisting auditors with statutory accounting procedures and ledger verification.
Preferred Skills
Working knowledge of Zoho accounting software.
Experience with Softex form preparation, STP filing, and EBRC generation.
