Description

You will manage financial reporting and regulatory calculations for broker-dealer entities, ensuring accuracy in balance sheets, income statements, and regulatory filings.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare current and prior-year Balance Sheet and Income Statement business cuts to facilitate comparative financials.
• Execute legal entity consolidation for regulatory reporting, including due diligence on inter-company settlements and OTC derivative netting.
• Support daily and monthly regulatory calculations and monthly FOCUS reporting.
• Validate source data and queries to ensure completeness of entity reporting and monitor intracompany bookings.
• Facilitate discussions regarding transactions with potential Reg W impact, such as structured notes booking and interest rate risk hedging.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance within broker-dealer entities.
• Proven experience in legal entity financial reporting or regulatory reporting.
• Background in public accounting or regulatory reporting environments.
• Knowledge of legal entity consolidation and inter-company settlement processes.
• Experience with FOCUS reporting and regulatory calculations.
• Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Any Graduate degree.
