Description

You will serve as a financial business partner for key programs, managing financial requirements and execution to minimize risk and maximize profit.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop program baselines, monitor performance, and investigate root causes of variances.
• Manage project start-up, close-out, monthly revenue, cost management, and profit recognition.
• Develop and review financial data for cost proposals, contract reviews, forecasts, and variance explanations.
• Interface with the PMO, project managers, technical staff, subcontractors, and customers.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, DFARS/FAR, CAS, and estimating systems.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant financial analysis experience.
• Knowledge of defense contracting regulatory environments, specifically DFARS and CAS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for investigating complex financial issues.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple finance and non-finance functions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hyperion Planning and Excel Smart View add-in.
• Project forecasting within a large defense contractor or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of DFARS Estimating System compliance and working capital management.
