Description

You will manage all financial operations for a manufacturing facility in Oshawa, ON, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will oversee reporting, budgeting, and day-to-day accounting while leading the finance team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support operational goals.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze production costs, variances, and profitability to provide operational insights.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Canadian GAAP/IFRS.

Required Skills

• CPA designation (CA, CMA, or CGA) or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive financial management experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Deep knowledge of Canadian GAAP/IFRS and tax regulations.
• Expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial modeling.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
