Description

Drive the design and delivery of monitoring and behavior detection technology solutions for the Financial Crimes department.

Design and develop applications using proven design patterns to optimize performance and maintenance. Write code that accurately reflects technical requirements and design documentation. Leverage DevOps practices to automate application testing and deployments. Define technical solutions with a focus on reusability and alignment with firm-wide strategy. Account for and integrate the developmental activities of other team members.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications using proven design patterns.
• Implement code that aligns with technical requirements and design documentation.
• Automate application testing and deployment pipelines using DevOps practices.
• Define technical solutions focused on reusability and firm-wide strategic alignment.
• Integrate and manage developmental activities for other team members.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Hands-on development in Scala, Spark, Python, and HDFS.
• Proficiency in core Java technology.
• Experience with Kafka and Big Data technologies.
• Experience working within Agile project frameworks.
• Knowledge of high-quality software architecture and design methodologies.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Financial Crimes tools such as Actimize.
• Big data technology certification.
• Experience developing UI/UX features.
