Description

Build and manage internal data systems, accounting development tools, and cloud environments to support finance and accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud container environments on Azure using Terraform to support accounting functions.
• Build scalable data environments utilizing Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
• Implement automated controls, data validation processes, and scheduling infrastructure with Apache Airflow.
• Interface with development teams to translate business requirements into technical execution for migration initiatives.
• Identify root causes for business challenges and implement strategic initiatives to improve efficiency in the accounting close process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data or systems engineering.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud services and infrastructure deployment.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong scripting skills, specifically in Python.
• Expertise with GitHub for source control and team collaboration.
• Experience with Databricks and Azure Synapse.
• Ability to work with C# or other programming languages.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes for application deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
