Description

You will manage project-based financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis to ensure projects remain within budget and timeline parameters.

Responsibilities

• Establish and optimize processes for monthly budget variance and expense reporting.
• Analyze cost-benefit analyses (CBAs), ROI, and vendor expenses against contract funding.
• Prepare and evaluate mid-year and year-end forecasts while monitoring spending and fund rollovers.
• Track planned versus actual expenses to support the annual budget process.
• Investigate and resolve project budget variances and prepare status reports on project progress.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in forecasting and reporting.
• Proven ability to perform in-depth financial analysis and research independently.
• Experience gathering business requirements and outlining business needs.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage complex resource allocation problems and high-volume workloads.
• Strong quantitative skills and attention to detail in data organization and interpretation.
• Experience performing financial analysis using various financial systems.
• Basic knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance Modules.
• Basic knowledge of ServiceNow Reporting Modules.

Preferred Skills

• BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Experience with project-based financial management, budgeting, forecasting, or auditing.
