FinOps Data Engineer

You will architect and develop data solutions that drive cost optimization and governance across multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Build reporting, business intelligence, and analytics solutions using Databricks, Grafana, and Power BI.
• Analyze cost and usage patterns across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises data centers to identify optimization opportunities.
• Design and implement automated solutions for cloud cost management and governance.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate infrastructure cost data into actionable insights.
• Apply FinOps best practices to streamline cloud spending and resource allocation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building data analytics and BI solutions.
• Proficiency with Databricks, Grafana, and Power BI.
• Applied experience with Public Cloud Governance and FinOps methodologies.
• Ability to interpret cost breakdowns for infrastructure, cloud services, and applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, and static analysis.
• Strong ability to architect solutions for ambiguous, complex problems.

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated experience with agile development processes and continuous delivery.
• Working knowledge of fundamental tools within AWS, Azure, and GCP.
