Roles and Responsibilities:

• Own FinOps practices including cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing optimization across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop cost analytics using SQL and Python to identify spend drivers, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
• Implement cloud cost governance through tagging standards, chargeback/showback models, and policy-based controls.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to right-size resources, optimize storage and compute usage, and reduce waste.
• Support automation of cost reporting and operational workflows; contribute to infrastructure changes using Terraform and Kubernetes where applicable.

Skills Required:

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in cloud cost management / FinOps / cloud operations
• FinOps and cloud cost management practices for multi-cloud environments.
• AWS, Azure, and GCP cost management experience (billing, usage, and optimization).
• SQL and Python for cost data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Ability to translate optimization findings into actionable engineering recommendations and measurable outcomes.

Good to Have:

• Kubernetes for cost and resource optimization in containerized environments.
• Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and cost governance automation.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
