Description

Own FinOps practices including cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and optimization across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost analytics using SQL and Python to identify spend drivers and optimization opportunities.
• Implement cloud cost governance through tagging standards, chargeback/showback models, and policy-based controls.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to right-size resources, optimize storage, and reduce waste.
• Support automation of cost reporting and operational workflows.
• Contribute to infrastructure changes using Terraform and Kubernetes where applicable.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in cloud cost management, FinOps, or cloud operations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP cost management (billing, usage, and optimization).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for cost data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Ability to translate optimization findings into actionable engineering recommendations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes for cost and resource optimization in containerized environments.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and cost governance automation.
