Description

You will manage cloud financial data to maximize business value and optimize public cloud consumption.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex financial tasks including budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis for Microsoft Azure, Client Web Services, or Google Cloud spend.
• Develop, execute, and track a cloud reservation portfolio to manage capacity requirements.
• Define Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and business value for public cloud migrations.
• Analyze business owner accounts and usage to provide optimization recommendations and risk mitigation.
• Assist in developing optimization policies, guidelines, and regular audits of optimization efforts.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in finance or business analysis.
• Proven expertise in cloud optimization.
• Experience managing cloud portfolios exceeding $5M annually.
• Background in managing cloud reservations.
• Extensive financial knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Client Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in Excel or similar platforms for complex financial analysis.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of FinOps concepts or possession of FinOps Certifications.
