Description

You will lead cloud cost optimization and financial planning to align cloud spend with organizational budgets.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Azure resource usage through right-sizing, reserved instances, and savings plans.
• Build detailed cloud cost forecasts incorporating growth trends, utilization metrics, and product development needs.
• Design and implement a Cloud Product COGS calculator to guide pricing and packaging decisions.
• Establish policies for resource tagging, allocation, and spend limits to enforce cost accountability.
• Develop KPIs, benchmarks, and automated reporting dashboards to track cost efficiency against forecasts.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Finance or FP&A roles.
• 3-4 years of experience in cloud finance or cloud operations, preferably in SaaS or cloud-native environments.
• Proven track record of implementing a cloud cost analytics framework by product.
• Strong understanding of Azure, AWS, or GCP pricing models.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and cost analysis.
• Experience with cloud cost management tools such as CloudHealth, Spot, or AWS Cost Explorer.
• Familiarity with FinOps principles and frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Basic scripting experience with Python or SQL.
