Description

You will manage and optimize cloud spending by bridging Infrastructure, Product, IT Finance, and leadership.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Partner with I&O, Product, and DevOps teams to monitor and optimize Azure resource usage by product and pipeline.
• Identify cost savings through right-sizing, reserved instances, and savings plans.
• Build detailed cloud cost forecasts incorporating growth trends, utilization metrics, and product development needs.
• Design and implement a Cloud Product COGS calculator to guide pricing and packaging decisions.
• Establish policies for resource tagging, allocation, and spending limits to enforce accountability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Finance or FP&A-related roles.
• 4 years of experience implementing cloud cost analytics frameworks by product.
• 4 years of experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Deep understanding of cloud pricing models and FinOps principles.
• Proven ability in financial modeling and cost analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud cost management tools such as CloudHealth, Spot, or AWS Cost Explorer.
• Basic scripting proficiency in Python or SQL.
