Description

Own the design, coordination, and project management of fire sprinkler systems from initial design through project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Design automatic wet/dry sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and standpipe systems using AutoSPRINK.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and develop detailed drawings for 13D, 13R, mid-rise, and high-rise structures.
• Manage project lifecycles including scheduling, material purchasing, permit submittals, and change analysis.
• Coordinate with architects, BIM coordinators, general contractors, and MEP trades to ensure design accuracy.
• Oversee project closeout by maintaining as-built drawings, purchase orders, and final documentation, including site visits to resolve field issues.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler design.
• Proficiency with AutoSPRINK software.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, and 20 standards.
• Ability to perform hydraulic calculations and review construction documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to provide past design projects as references.
