Description

You will manage, troubleshoot, and resolve internetwork communication problems on mission-critical IP-based networks.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support Checkpoint and Juniper firewalls.
• Design and build firewall rules for applications based on app flows between network zones.
• Build firewall VPNs using Checkpoint and Juniper products.
• Provide 2nd tier support to customers and the Network Operations Centre (NOC).
• Conduct root cause investigations, audit remediation analysis, and resolve firewall-related problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network and firewall management.
• Hands-on experience with Checkpoint Firewall configuration and support.
• Experience configuring and supporting Juniper firewalls.
• Proficiency in designing and building VPNs on Checkpoint and Juniper.
• Experience providing NOC and 2nd tier technical support.
• Ability to conduct root cause investigations and meet established KPIs.
• Experience with firewall audit remediation and analysis.
• Strong understanding of IP-based network infrastructure and communication.

Preferred Skills

• Experience acting as an escalation point and providing technical direction to network staff.
