Description

You will design, implement, and maintain the organization's firewall infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage firewall solutions to ensure network security and integrity.
• Develop and implement automation practices to streamline firewall configuration and monitoring.
• Monitor firewall performance, analyze security logs, and troubleshoot network issues.
• Assess and optimize firewall infrastructure for performance and industry compliance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including firewall diagrams and configuration guides.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of proven experience in firewall engineering, design, and implementation.
• Strong understanding of network security protocols, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Check Point.
• Proficiency in using design tools such as Visio and Lucidchart.
• Familiarity with firewall policies and rule sets.
• Experience with security policy management tools like Tufin.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on security projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation tools and scripting, such as Python and Ansible.
• Familiarity with NetConf/Yang, GRPC, and Openflow protocols.
