Description

You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise firewall policies across Palo Alto Networks and Check Point platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage rule lifecycle activities including creation, optimization, cleanup, and decommissioning.
• Configure, review, and troubleshoot firewall routing, static routes, virtual routers, and dynamic routing integrations.
• Manage NAT policies (static, dynamic, hide, bidirectional) to ensure secure and accurate traffic flow.
• Use Tufin to analyze rule bases, streamline workflows, and automate change processes.
• Analyze logs and correlate events using Splunk to support security operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with enterprise firewall technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks and Check Point firewalls.
• Proficiency with policy management tools such as Tufin, FireMon, or AlgoSec.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, NAT, VPN, and DNS.
• Experience with log analysis and event correlation using Splunk.
• Knowledge of network segmentation and core networking concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dynamic routing integrations.
• Familiarity with policy-based forwarding (PBF) configuration.
