Description

You will lead firewall installation, support, operation, monitoring, and migration efforts for approximately 23 independent firewall-as-a-service clients.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, operation, and migration of network firewalls and VPN services.
• Manage and operate Fortinet, Juniper, and Cisco firewall deployments.
• Perform policy and configuration conversions between different firewall vendor platforms.
• Convert VPN services to selected SASE VPN-as-a-Service vendor platforms.
• Support the NOC environment, including firewall, VPN, routing, and switching tasks.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in network engineering, including route and switch duties.
• 4+ years of direct administration and primary support for modern firewall and VPN platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Juniper, and Cisco firewall appliances.
• Proficiency in VPN, Firewall, Route, and Switch technologies.
• Ability to handle policy and configuration conversions between vendors.
• Experience managing Ivanti VPN appliance systems.
• 8+ years of IT customer service experience, including incident resolution.
• Maintain accurate system documentation and follow change management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with medium to large-size deployments and multi-tenancy environments.
• Network engineering and/or network security certifications.
