Description

You will design and develop firmware for Qualcomm ARM Snapdragon SOC hardware platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient, optimized C/C++ code for ARM systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware architects to integrate software and hardware components.
• Optimize software performance regarding memory usage, processing speed, and energy efficiency.
• Develop reusable modules that interface with sensors, actuators, and communication modules.
• Test and debug software using simulation tools, hardware emulators, and on-target testing methods.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in firmware development.
• Expertise in ARM embedded architecture and C/C++ programming.
• Experience with UEFI Architecture and the EDK-2 platform, including PEIM and DXE stages.
• Bare-metal development experience with UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, and DAC protocols.
• Proficiency in debugging embedded applications using JTAG and SWD debuggers.
• Experience with RTOS, Embedded Linux, ThreadX, and Zephyr OS.
• Familiarity with Python, batch files, and command shells.
• Knowledge of GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
• Ability to use logic analyzers, I2C analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PIC and other microcontroller architectures.
• Knowledge of embedded security, encryption protocols, CAN, or Ethernet.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and power management techniques.
