Description

Develop, test, and optimize firmware for Windows on ARM and Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for Qualcomm ARM Snapdragon SOC hardware platforms.
• Write efficient, optimized C/C++ code for ARM systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware architects to integrate software and hardware components.
• Optimize software performance, focusing on memory usage, processing speed, and energy efficiency.
• Test and debug software using simulation tools, hardware emulators, and on-target testing methods.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in firmware development.
• Expertise in C programming and ARM embedded architecture.
• Experience with UEFI Architecture and the EDK-2 platform, including PEIM and DXE stages.
• Hands-on bare-metal development using UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, and DAC protocols.
• Proficiency debugging embedded applications using JTAG and SWD debuggers.
• Solid experience with RTOS, embedded Linux, ThreadX, and Zephyr OS.
• Familiarity with Python, batch files, and command shells.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and board bring-up.
• Ability to use logic analyzers, I2C analyzers, and oscilloscopes to interpret HW schematics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with embedded security, encryption protocols, and power management techniques.
• Knowledge of CAN or Ethernet protocols and Agile methodologies using ADO.

Education

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
