Description

Lead technical architecture and development for complex industrial automation projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define technical architecture using Modbus, Foundation Fieldbus, and TCP/IP networking interfaces.
• Write C++ applications to prove design concepts and drive implementation.
• Develop automated test cases using Python to ensure system quality.
• Perform system design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Manage project schedules, backlogs, and risks while communicating status to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in industrial automation environments.
• Proficiency in C++ for application development.
• Experience with Python for automated testing.
• Hands-on knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS systems.
• Strong understanding of Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) networks, including EtherNet, ControlNet, and DeviceNet.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.
• Experience gathering requirements and writing functional specifications or use cases.

Preferred Skills

• Graduate degree.
