Description

You will own the USB stack development and maintenance throughout the product lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design microarchitecture and firmware architecture for USB-based products.
• Develop and maintain USB stack/firmware to support various device classes.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve USB-related issues.
• Manage all phases of development from initial design through to maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in firmware development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for BareMetal or SoC environments.
• Experience developing low-level drivers for USB 1.2, 2.x, and 3.x.
• Hands-on experience with USB class specific drivers including CDC, HID, Audio, or mass storage.
• Experience with USB-based hubs and composite devices.
• Knowledge of platform initialization and Board Support Package (BSP) porting.
• Competency in Python for development or scripting tasks.
• Ability to work within an Agile process.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PCIe, I2C, SPI, UART, memory management, scheduling, interrupts, and multi-threading.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, CI/CD processes, and PowerShell.
