Description

You will design, develop, and debug firmware for embedded systems, focusing on Linux-based platforms and OpenBMC.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware solutions, device drivers, kernel modules, and system-level software.
• Optimize system performance, memory footprint, and power consumption.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and perform root cause analysis for troubleshooting bugs.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA engineers to define requirements and ensure hardware-firmware integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Strong experience with Linux and Linux kernel development.
• Hands-on expertise with OpenBMC architecture and protocols.
• Proficiency with the Yocto build system.
• Experience using GDB for debugging.
• Experience using Git for version control.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a related technical field.
