Description

You will design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for medical devices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain embedded firmware in C and C++ for safety-critical applications.
• Develop firmware on Linux, RTOS, and embOS platforms for device control.
• Ensure compliance with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations throughout the lifecycle.
• Perform debugging, unit testing, and integration testing using standard tools.
• Maintain software documentation, traceability matrices, and Design History File (DHF) components.

Required Skills

• 3-10 years of experience in embedded or firmware development.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Hands-on expertise with microcontrollers, specifically STM32 and ARM Cortex families.
• Experience with RTOS environments (Linux, embOS, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of medical device software lifecycle standards and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams within regulated environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with firmware optimization techniques.
• Proven track record of audit-ready documentation and traceability.
