Description

You will own the validation and testing of embedded firmware across hardware and software layers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for embedded platforms, including bootloaders, drivers, and middleware.
• Perform firmware validation against functional, performance, and regulatory specifications.
• Debug firmware and hardware issues using JTAG, oscilloscopes, and serial debugging tools.
• Develop and maintain Python automation scripts to increase test coverage and efficiency.
• Log, track, and manage defects using bug tracking systems and improve testing methodologies.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in embedded firmware testing and validation.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C and Embedded C++.
• Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools like JTAG and Oscilloscopes.
• Experience validating communication protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, WiFi, and BLE.
• Strong automation experience using Python scripting.
• Proficiency in Functional and Integration Testing.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and version control.
• Analytical and strong troubleshooting skills.
