Description

You will design, develop, and maintain firmware for embedded systems, collaborating with hardware engineers to define requirements and ensure system reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware for embedded systems using C, C++, or Assembly.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and interfaces.
• Test, debug, and optimize firmware code for efficiency and reliability.
• Implement firmware updates and analyze firmware-related issues.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for firmware projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience in firmware development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Assembly.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Knowledge of hardware interfaces and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of microcontroller and microprocessor architecture.
• Ability to use debugging tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge or understanding of Fortran.
• Knowledge and understanding of ARM architecture.
