Description

Design and develop platform BIOS solutions and system-level firmware for server hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable firmware using C and x86 Assembly.
• Design platform BIOS solutions based on silicon and hardware features.
• Debug, validate, and triage issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with silicon and platform engineering teams to resolve system-level issues.
• Contribute to firmware architecture, design reviews, and technical discussions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in BIOS, firmware, or system software development.
• Strong understanding of x86 system architecture.
• Experience developing firmware for server platforms.
• Proficiency in C Programming and x86 Assembly.
• Knowledge of AMI Aptio V BIOS, ACPI, SMBIOS, PCIe, DDR5, and NVMe.
• Experience with SPI, I2C, SATA, and Ethernet interfaces.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with Embedded Systems and cross-functional collaboration.
