Description

You will develop, test, and integrate firmware components for large format printers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Capture and propose functionality for software components based on functional specifications.
• Develop, test, and integrate assigned software components, including bug fixing.
• Document and publish all development work in English.
• Support prototype builds by detecting, analyzing, and resolving issues on large format printer build lines.
• Coordinate changes with Software Lab, NPI, MSE, and other teams, analyzing manufacturing impact.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in firmware development.
• Proficiency in C and C++ 11/14.
• Experience with Python and TCL.
• Knowledge of concurrent programming, multi-threaded, and multi-process systems.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux environments and RTOS concepts.
• Experience using Git/GitHub for version control.
• Proficiency with debugging tools such as JTAG and GDB.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with large format printer hardware.
• Background in NPI or manufacturing support.
