Description

You will design, implement, and maintain firmware for embedded systems to ensure performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain firmware for embedded systems and low-level device drivers for sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces.
• Customize the Linux kernel, including device drivers, networking protocols, and system configurations.
• Execute board bring-up in collaboration with hardware engineers to ensure platform functionality.
• Integrate and optimize RTOS for time-critical, deterministic applications.
• Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues using hardware debugging tools and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
• Strong proficiency in C programming.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel internals and device driver development.
• Experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS or QNX.
• Hands-on experience with board bring-up and hardware debugging.
• Familiarity with embedded systems architectures and peripherals.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with scripting languages including Python and Bash.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Knowledge of embedded security and certification standards.
