You will design and develop low-level software for embedded systems and real-time environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day technical activities for a small engineering team.
• Design and develop object-oriented software for embedded environments.
• Develop device drivers and low-level embedded software.
• Implement solutions across bare metal, RTOS, and Linux environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C and C++ within embedded or application environments.
• Experience with real-time embedded development on ARM or Intel architectures.
• Ability to read traces, use oscilloscopes, and review board schematics.
• Experience using compilers and toolchains for ARM and Intel processors.
• Knowledge of embedded software development in bare metal, RTOS, or Linux.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing software to meet IEC 61508 or IEC 62443 safety and security standards.
• Software development using Python.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C, Ethernet, USB, PCI Express) and embedded Hypervisors.
