Description

Design and implement firmware architecture for wireless radio products, ensuring security by design and robust system integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develop system software including bootloaders, drivers, kernels, and system services for embedded platforms.
• Implement embedded security principles, managing secure boot processes, firmware integrity, OTA updates, and hardware-backed device attestation.
• Apply OS hardening techniques and implement security protocols, including PKI-based authentication and TLS 1.2/1.3, within telecom environments.
• Customize Embedded Linux and RTOS environments, including U-Boot/kernel modifications and Linux Device Tree configurations.
• Manage keys, certificates, signatures, and encryption mechanisms to secure wireless applications and radio products.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in firmware or embedded software engineering.
• Proficiency in C for system software development, including drivers and kernel modules.
• Strong object-oriented design and development skills using C++.
• Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux, RTOS, and U-Boot/kernel customization.
• Knowledge of Linux Device Tree, file system operations, and embedded system security.
• Experience with embedded security protocols such as MacSec, IEEE 802.1X, and TLS.
• Background in wireless applications and radio product implementation.
• Familiarity with O-RAN WG11 security specifications and O-RAN Security Requirements and Controls.

Preferred Skills

• Experience specifically with O-RAN radio products.
