Description

You will own embedded application firmware development as an independent contributor.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain firmware for microcontroller architectures.
• Implement bootloader functionality and communication protocols.
• Debug hardware and software using measurement tools and debuggers.
• Manage code using version control systems.
• Collaborate with the team using leadership and technical skills.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in firmware development for embedded applications.
• Hands-on experience with peripherals such as SPI, UART, or I2C.
• Proficiency with microcontrollers like MSP430, IMX, PIC32, or STM32.
• Experience with communication protocols including CAN, Modbus, Profibus, or Foundation Fieldbus.
• Working knowledge of RTOS.
• Experience with development tools such as IAR, Keil, MPLAB, or Code Composer.
• Ability to use measurement tools like CRO and Logic Analyzers.
• Basic hardware debugging skills.
• Experience with version control systems such as SVN or GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Strong leadership skills within a development team.
