Description

You will develop firmware for embedded microprocessor systems in optical positioning instruments and build PC-based diagnostic applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain firmware for new and existing optical geodetic instruments.
• Build PC-based applications for instrument diagnostics, testing, production, and service.
• Lead day-to-day technical issues and contribute to software design reviews.
• Create task plans, schedules, and manage technical risks.
• Support testing processes across development, production, and service stages.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in firmware development and implementation.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience programming under Linux embedded or FreeRTOS.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage technical projects.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience with E-CAD design and using instrumentation test equipment.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Programming experience in .NET/C# and Windows PC application programming.
• Knowledge of FPGA programming.
