Description

Design, develop, and qualify firmware and hardware for electronic products including GSM/GPS telematics units.

You will own the full design lifecycle, provide technical support to manufacturing and vendors, and manage liaisons with external development partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and qualify firmware and hardware for general electronic products.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, vendors, installation centers, and customers.
• Manage technical liaison and projects with external development partners.
• Research new technologies for integration into the development workflow.
• Troubleshoot and test electronic security systems and integrated products.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in electronics engineering and hardware design.
• Proficiency in embedded software development using C.
• Experience managing a design project from inception to completion.
• Ability to read and sketch electronic schematics.
• Competency in embedded development software and testing.
• Proven experience in fault finding and hardware troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of RF and wireless communications.
• Knowledge of IoT technologies.
