Description

You will design, implement, and optimize hypervisor code at the kernel and firmware levels.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hypervisor code with a focus on kernel and firmware-level modifications.
• Debug, profile, and optimize hypervisor performance for scalability and efficiency.
• Contribute to open-source projects and collaborate with the community to improve security and performance.
• Work with software, hardware, and security teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Review architectural designs and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in open-source software development.
• Deep expertise in virtualization and open-source hypervisors.
• Extensive coding experience at the kernel and firmware levels.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and Go.
• Ability to modify open-source code to function within specific ecosystems.
• Infrastructure knowledge with the ability to write and understand complex software code.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Professional experience at product companies such as VMware or Red Hat.
