Description

Develop and maintain embedded software for safety-standard products using embedded C and C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded C and C++ code for RTOS-based microcontrollers.
• Manage control and interface board bring-up processes.
• Implement custom bootloaders and firmware upgrade mechanisms.
• Debug code within RTOS environments using hardware tools.
• Participate in Agile Scrum development cycles.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in embedded C and C++ development.
• Experience with RTOS-based microcontrollers and debugging.
• Proficiency with STM32, ESP32, or Nordic architectures.
• Experience implementing BLE GATT servers and Bluetooth protocols.
• Knowledge of communication protocols including Modbus and Ethernet.
• Hands-on experience with DSO, multimeters, and compilers.
• Experience with software versioning and SDLC management tools.
• Background working with safety standards such as IEC 60730 or UL1998.
• Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of power systems, switchgear, and control products.
