Description

Develop and maintain embedded software for microcontrollers in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute control and interface board bring-up and debug code within RTOS-based environments.
• Develop custom bootloaders and firmware upgrade (FUS) processes.
• Write makefiles for building firmware and document all design, development, and test materials.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded C and C++ development.
• Hands-on experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr RTOS.
• Experience with BLE GATT server and Bluetooth/BLE protocols.
• Proficiency with communication protocols including Modbus, Ethernet, BACnet, and REST.
• Experience using hardware lab tools including DSO, multimeter, and signal generator.
• Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams.
• Experience with version control tools like Git or SVN.
• Working knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with STM32, ESP32, or Nordic microcontrollers and familiarity with GCC compilers on Eclipse IDE.
• Knowledge of IEC safety standards (60730 or UL1998) and experience with dual-core architectures or IoT cadence.
