Description

Design, develop, and debug production-quality firmware for embedded systems, ensuring scalable solutions and complex trade-off decisions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware in C/Linux environments for embedded products.
• Debug and optimize code for image/visual processing or sensing devices (cameras, radars, lidars).
• Make complex business and risk trade-off recommendations during product development.
• Generate automated metrics to measure quality, product effectiveness, and consistency.
• Translate technically complex issues into clear concepts for stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 3+ years of development experience in embedded environments.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and C.
• Experience designing, developing, and debugging production-quality products.
• Understanding of how product development occurs at scale.
• Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other RTOS systems.
• Knowledge of 61508 industrial safety standards (or medical/automotive/avionic).
• Technical knowledge in wireless, networking, or electro-mechanical control systems.
