Description

You will develop, integrate, and maintain UEFI, MCU, and embedded firmware in C/C++. Your work spans platform bring-up, early hardware enablement, and system-level stability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UEFI firmware using EDK2, covering PEI, DXE, BDS, and Runtime phases.
• Drive board and platform bring-up with early silicon and hardware enablement.
• Debug system-level stability, performance, and reliability issues using low-level tools.
• Collaborate with hardware, validation, and silicon partner teams to resolve firmware and driver boundaries.
• Contribute to firmware validation, test automation, and CI/CD workflows.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in firmware engineering.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems.
• Deep understanding of boot flows, platform initialization, and secure boot.
• Experience with EDK2 build systems and firmware update/capsule flows.
• Familiarity with low-level interfaces: I2C, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe, GPIO.
• Knowledge of ACPI, SMBIOS, power management, and suspend/resume states.
• Proficiency debugging with JTAG, serial logs, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with platform bring-up for consumer or commercial devices.
• Background in firmware validation or test infrastructure.
